Jim Bernardin

Jim Bernardin has been successfully delivering music workshops and performances to primary and secondary schools for over ten years, the last five of which have been with the highly acclaimed school touring group ‘Shake Rattle and Roll’, which he conceived and co-founded in 2001.

Jim began his musical career as a professional drummer before moving into music education. He has taught drums and percussion in state and independent schools and directed various percussion ensembles alongside his teaching. Jim also plays percussion for shows, orchestras and bands, and has become an active steel pan soloist. www.steelpanevents.co.uk.

In addition to his music experience Jim has a first degree in music composition and writing and has had many articles published including his own book entitled ‘Diary Of A Pregnant Male!’. Jim is a keen tennis player, enjoys cooking and avoids DIY. He is married with two children.
