 SCHOOLS

“ Jim is a gifted music educator. He immediately established an easy rapport with our whole age-range, Infants to adults, and his visit was truly inspiring and memorable. Indeed, our Notre Dame Senior School colleagues were so impressed by the performances that they promptly booked him to visit their site!”
- Janet Wood. Head Of Music, Notre Dame Prep School, Surrey

Each workshop has been designed to give participants, from the very youngest children through to adults, a hands-on experience of playing instruments from around the world and producing an authentic representation of the style and sound of the respective cultures. One of the most important elements of Jim’s workshops is his ability to pitch the content and delivery in just the right way for each age group and level he works with.

Over many years, Jim has worked at specialist schools and units, delivering workshops to children and adults with special educational, emotional, behavioural and physical needs on a regular basis, in hospices and care homes, for government funded Immigrant support hubs and many charities. In short, there are few places where a music workshop cannot have a positive impact on those involved and jim is open to all discussions of your ideas for a visit.

The following workshops and cultures are currently available for all age groups
